Parent Participation
At a parent participation preschool such as Happy Hours Preschool, the parents get to be involved in the business of running the preschool.
Parent participation lets you play an active role in your child's education during perhaps the most critical time of their development.
For example, each parent participates in monthly parent education sessions and in duty days once or twice a month.
For the children, this means they get to have mommy or daddy at school to help Teacher. For parents, this helps them develop their parenting skills; and, for the school, this helps reduce running costs (keeping fees for all parents lower) while maintaining a very high adult-to-child ratio. It's a win-win-win.
Each parent is assigned a job in order to assist with the operation of the preschool - an example of a job is Class Rep. Our fully qualified teacher develops the school curriculum and leads each days' activities, but with parent support.
