Our 'Learn Through Play' Philosophy

Our preschool philosophy is about letting children develop at their own pace and to the fullest of their ability.

We believe that by having choice in play, they learn and grow in their own unique way.

This develops important skills, that lay the foundations for reading, writing and mathematics, problem-solving and decision-making, social and emotional growth and many other skills needed throughout their lives.

“I love that we can go for walks to explore our community, search for fairies in our enchanted forest, run, play ball and Frisbee in our field, get down and dirty in our mud pit; and of course we have wonderful playground where children can climb, slide, dig in our enormous sandbox, cook in the outdoor kitchen, explore art and science and most of all have fun together.”

Kerry Weismiller (teacher)

We believe that parent involvement in preschool fosters a child’s sense of self-worth and security, and strengthens parenting skills. We value the importance of family and community in our children's development.

As the parents and teacher work together to build trust and confidence in the children, a strong future is gained for your child and our community at large.

"The children’s experiences and development are enriched by contributions from all our enrolled families...I really enjoy our special days,  when all family members, especially younger siblings attend."
