Our Program

The Happy Hours Preschool program emphasizes outdoor play, the importance of family and interaction in the community. Monthly field trips, family days and activities that include siblings and participation in community events are a few of the ways that we make this part of our program a reality for our children.


Our preschool curriculum is developed by the Preschool ECE Teacher with regular input and feedback from the parent team.  The curriculum is a child-centered program which focuses on preschool activities, such as pre-literacy skills, science, mathematics, music, art, movement, story-telling, cooking, nature, dramatic play and monthly field trips.

Our program emphasizes individual and small group learning experiences, which build the foundation skills and knowledge needed by our children to make a successful transition into the school system. We offer mixed 3 and 4 year old classes and ensure age appropriate learning focus on physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
